Godspeed Barney

It's with great saddness and a heavy heart to announce that our Club Mascot Barney has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Barney was always there to greet ya when you came to field. A very friendly fellow that use to love to hang out with us and sit on your lap everytime we showed up. I personally spent a few weekday evenings with just me and Barney getting some flight time in. He is going to be surely missed.
I also want to give a huge thanks to Chet Broda.... who drove daily from his home, as we all know, to take care of Barney every day along with taking him to the vet. Barney had a great life because of Chet and the Club appreciates everything Chet did.
Though Chet has paid the vet expenses and cremation, anyone who wants to donate towards the cost, would be much appreciated.
Godspeed Barney.

General Club Information
This club was formed in 1978 by members looking for a safe, proper, and organized R/C Flying Club. We normally maintain a membership of approximately 100 individuals. We are a charter member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, Charter # 1445– District II. Our goal is to provide a safe and friendly place to fly radio control aircraft. We are doing our best to operate in a safe, respectable, and environmentally friendly manner. We hope you use this site to learn about our club and our hobby. If you have ideas to improve the web site please let us know.
